Senior Director

Description: This position is given to Directors who have proven they have the experience needed to run all of GoW’s Divisions and have exceptional leadership qualities.

Requirements: Successful performance and achievement as a Director for at least a month’s time.
They should be appointed for promotion by a Council Member.

Duties: They carry out and implement solutions to any problem that comes their way from the
Directors. They are responsible for making sure the community is playing in a professional manner and are upholding the Laws Of Gods, and that all Directors and Commanders are doing their job correctly. These Senior Leaders are responsible for the management of the GoW vocation on Xbox Live, and they have the power to open, close, change, and merge any division if needed. They are highly respected leaders and have full power over all of GoW on Xbox Live. They can promote or demote any rank below them.

Reports to: Council Members.

Comments: They are highly respected and experienced members in GoW that know what to do, and make sure it happens. Senior Directors are the head of the community. They make sure that everyone is doing their jobs correctly.

 

 

Community Director

Directors who have shown excellent leadership and communication skills will be promoted to the
“Community Director” position. Community Directors are the “hosts” of GoW Family/Community,
responsible for ensuring that members are receiving all information that is important and relevant
to GoW Family/ Community, through the distribution of messages on Xbox LIVE and if necessary,
the use of other mediums such as advertisement on Godsofwar.org and godsofwar.org/forums. Theyare also obligated to find and select hosts for GoW Family/ Community, events (ex. Free-For-All tournaments).

Reports to: Council members, Senior Directors.

 

 

Director

Requirements: This position is given to those Commanders who may become eligible for a promotion through hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Description: Communications leader from Divisions to Seniors/Council as they are the experts of all information in the division. Director are a heavily respected rank and there for need to act in a
respectable and professional manner in order to teach and share ideas with their members to
empower and train them to be the best of the best. They are the highest rank in the division but
work tightly with the seniors before making major changes to the division that are not in need for
immediate remedy. There goal is to teach and train there division leader to make all the right
decisions within the division while trying to allow the commander to grow and learn from
mistakes. They are to stay active on godsofwar.org/forums,  and should contribute to their division
forums while encouraging others to do the same.

Reports to: Council members, Senior Directors.

 

 

Commander

Description: This position is given to those Co-Commanders who may become eligible for a
promotion through hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Co-Commander’s rank for atleast a month’s time.
Appointed for promotion by a Director and approved by a Senior Director or Council Member.

Duties: The Commanders must be able to exercise patience as they will be called upon to make many tough decisions that will affect the members in their division. They are the supreme rank of a Division, therefore they are role models to all the members in their division by upholding the Laws Of Gods and showing a professional and opened attitude at all times to all the ranks in their
divisions. They are in charge of promoting and demoting within the division but cannot promote or
demote to or within their own rank. They should stay active on godsofwar.org/forums, the GoW
Forums and should contribute to their division forum while encouraging others to do the same.
They suggest members to get promoted to Co-Commander.

Reports to: Director, Senior Director and or Council Member.

Comments: The title comes with the responsibilities of running the entire division with good
guidance and judgment. They must attempt to participate in division meetings and communicate
with the Directors and Co-Commander to ensure a good gaming experience for everyone.

 

 

Co-Commander

Description: This position is given to those Admirals who may become eligible for a promotion
through hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Admiral position for atleast a month’s time. Appointed
for promotion by a Commander and approved by a Director or Senior Director.

Duties: Work with the Admiral to run and maintain a good Division, staying active on
godsofwar.org/forums, the GoW Forums, and should contribute to their division forum while
encouraging others to do the same. They solve major problems brought to them by the Admiral. They act as a Division Leader when one is not present and represent their division at meetings when the Commander is unavailable. They are responsible for suggesting the promotion or demotion of Admirals with the approval of the Commander and Director.

Reports to: Commander and Director or Senior Director.

 

 

Admiral

Description: This position is given to those Generals or Vice Admirals who may become eligible for a promotion through hard work, loyalty, and detication in GoW.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the General Rank or Vice Admiral for atleast a month’s
time. Appointed for promotion by a Co-Commander and approved by a Commander and/or Director.

Duties: Overseeing all the squads of the division, make sure all the positions below them are doing
their jobs correctly, solving any problem the Generals might bring to them, staying active on
godsofwar.org/forums, the GoW Forums and should contribute to their division forum. They are
responsible for giving permission to a General to start a new squad.

Reports to: Co-Commander, Commander and/or Director.

Comments: Admirals are role models for the entire Divisions, so they must be capable of solving
problems with patience and good judgment.

 

 

Vice Admiral

The “Vice Admiral” rank is given to a General who has shown exceptional leadership skills, hard
work, loyalty, and detication. The Vice Admiral should supervise 2-3 squads at a time, coordinate
with Generals and aid in fulfilling the goals of the division. This member should be fully
knowledgeable in all aspects of “Squad Security” and should be able to deal with major issues. If theacting General is unable to fulfill their responsibilities, the Vice Admiral may step in to help
maintain the squad. Finally, the Vice Admiral can approve/disapprove squad transfers within their
division.

General

Description: This position is awarded to 1st Captains who may become eligible for a promotion
through hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Captain Rank, and exceptional work in their squad.
Must have a months experience as a Captain.

Duties: They are to take insight and training from the Vice Admirals, and Admiral to help supervise
their squads. Also they lead up all organization of all activities and approvals of new activities.
Encourages growth of the squad at all times but careful of not spamming the members too much.
Also training his/her 1st Captain in order to supervise the squad if not present. Always assisting
with his/her officers on background checks, uniform checks, how to work squad tag and training
his officer court to handle all teams that is been built. He/she and the 1st Captain hold a Squad
meeting once a week after the Division meeting. He/she also does all promotions and Demotions from Captain down as long as it is in agreement with their Vice Admiral on any officer promotion or demotion. (NO Public Disciplinary Action is condoned) This is to ensure that there is No quick
judgment calls and the best decision will be made. These promotions or demotions need to be
reported up the ranks for future references if gamer wants to comes back and Make sure changes to the squad tags bio of leadership gets updated. They also organize uniform checks with the Captains, in which is keeping the squad tag up to date an you will know what members are not wanting to stay in uniform or has quit. In-activeness, if for some reason a gamer needs time off and he informs you, work with this gamer as long as it is a reasonable time frame. But if a gamer is inactive for 30 or more days he or she needs to be removed and a message sent to this gamer tag letting him or her know when their able to get back online you can reinstate them. Squad to squad transfers are to be handled by Admiral or Vice Admiral; Commander does not have to be involved but if it’s with a General the Commander must be present. Generals also keep the checks and balances up to date on his or her squad tag Bio. Also working to keep Roster up to date by making sure all gamer tags are correct and ranks are correct for all officers and keeping the numbers the same as on the squad tag. He/she is to stay active on godsofwar.org/forums, the GoW Forums and their Divisional forum too. Remember you’re a role model for all leadership in your squad and give the Best Gaming Experience Possible.

Comments: They are the supreme rank in a GoW Squad.

Major

Description: This position is reserved for the most experienced and capable Captain in a squad,
appointed by the General and Vice Admiral, they have proven they have what it takes to lead the
entire squad. A Major should assisting the General in completing his/her duties in GoW. A Major is a General in training and will be expected to maintain the squad in the absense of their General.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Captain position, hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Captain

Description: This position is given to those Lieutenants who may become eligible for a promotion
through hard work, loyalty, and detication in GoW.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Warrent Officers.

Duties: Organizing activities for the squad, setting up squad meetings for generals, forwarding the
leaders messages to the squad, recruiting, staying active on godsofwar.org/forums (the GoW
Forums). They must have full knowledge of the Rank Structure. They are the ones to suggest which
Sergeants should be promoted to Lieutenants. And they also are responsible of reporting any larger problems of the squad to the General directly. Uphold the Laws Of Gods; stay active as a gamer and be registered on godsofwar.org/forums. First Captain is the person who runs the squad when the general is not present, and designates operations of squad teams.

Reports to: General and Vice Admiral.

Comments: They are the right hand of the General to run and build the squad, they are learning how to run the squad with the goal to become General when there is a need to fill the rank.

Warrent Officer

Description: This position is given to those Lieutenants who may become eligible for a promotion
through hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Lieutenant rank in the Eyes of the squad leaders.

Duties: Helping their Captains with squad activities and the squad lists. A Warrent Officer should
know and understand how to run background checks on the new members. They must being fully
trained in recruiting techniques and know the Laws Of Gods and Rank Structure. They have to be
active on godsofwar.org/forums and the GoW Forums. They are responsible communicating with
the lieutenants and making sure they are fulfilling the duties of thier rank. As well as solving minor
problems and recruiting new members. Their should be one Warrent Officer for every two
Lieutenants in a squad. Their Span of Control of members is up to 30 members

Reports to: Captains, and Major.

Comments: They should be role models for Lieutenants, Sergeants, Corporals, and Privates.

Lieutenant

Description: This position is given to those Sergeants who may become eligible for a promotion
through hard work, loyalty, and detication.

Requirements: Successful fulfillment of the Sergeant rank in the Eyes of the squad leaders.

Duties: Helping their Captains with squad activities and the squad lists. A lieutenant should know
and understand how to run background checks on the new members. They must be fully trained in recruiting techniques and know the Laws Of Gods and Rank Structure. They have to be active on godsofwar.org/forums and the GoW Forums. They are responsible for solving minor problems and recruiting new members. Their Span of Control of members is up to 20 members

Reports to: Warrent Officers.

Comments: They should be role models for Sergeants, and Privates.

Sergeant

Description: This position is awarded to those Privates who worked hard, showed loyalty, and are
deticated.

Duties: Uphold the Laws Of Gods; stay active as a gamer and be registered on godsofwar.org/forums. They should know the rank Structure up through Director. They are a role models to all Pvt’s of GoW and are to stay active with not only higher leaders of the squad but also the Pvts.

Reports to: Lieutenants, and any other higher rank.

Comments: Members are encouraged to change their gamer tags at their own discretion.

Abbreviation: SGT

 

 

Corporal

A member at the “Corporal” rank should participate on godsofwar.org/forums, attend squad
meetings, and activities. Corporals should be well versed in the recruiting process and they must
follow the GoW Family/ Community, Laws Of Gods.

Abbreviation: CPL

 

 

Private

Description: This is the first position acquired with your enrollment into the community.

Duties: Privates are to take guidance and training from Sergeants of the squad. Remaining in
uniform, according to the indications of the recruiter, agreeing to respect the Laws Of Gods and The Xbox Live Disclaimer, starting to learn the Rank Structure up through General rank, sign up at godsofwar.org/forums, and meet other GoW members by attending squad activities, to include squad meetings.

Reports to: Sergeants, or any other higher rank.

Comments: Privates are encouraged but not required to change their gamer tag. Any problems they might have should report to the Lieutenants.
